Sometimes we need to push ourselves, so that we can learn¬†the most of the films we work on. So I’ve put together this list of things you can do, which should allow to you really flex your filmmaking muscles, rather than taking the ‘easy way out’.¬†Filmmaking takes more than just passive practicing!

These suggestions are designed to be things you can do to accelerate your learning process. Athletes have to push themselves to work harder, and so do we (as filmmakers) if we want to succeed! Many of these challenges could generate shots for your reel, as well as content for a YouTube channel. However, challenges 1, 3, and 4 couldn’t be promoted as your own original work. For educational purposes only, people!
