Some tips for time lapse photography.


Some universal tips for timelapses, followed by a look at three different timelapse methods:

Speed Up Method:   Record a long video, and simply speed it up in post.

Low Frame Rate Method:  Set your camera to something like 1fps, and then record a video. (Canon DSLR users need to install Magic Lantern for this feature).

Classic Time Lapse:  Using an intervalometer or the Syrp Genie Mini as I did, we can choose a time interval, and then the camera will be triggered to take a high resolution image at the interval.
